Mission

• AFRIMS Virology develops and evaluates products, and collects epidemiologic data to protect the Soldier and citizen from infectious diseases.
• To support these efforts we engage in:
• clinical trials,
• field site development and capacity building,
• epidemiology studies and service sample collection,
• building relationships of trust and goodwill with:
  • US agencies (USAID, CDC, DOS, USDA),
  • foreign governments,
  • foreign militaries,
  • the World Health Organization,
  • NGOs with an infectious disease focus.
